Los Angeles II: A Modern City Quilt from Gefilte Quilt

I'm on a roll with city quilts! I've made two New York quilts,  a Chicago quilt, and now, a second Los Angeles quilt. (Photos of  earlier quilts and an instructional booklet are here.) Below is the second Los Angeles quilt:

Is it a bird? Well, birds are involved....

Is it a plane? No, more like a Frisbee - if you fling it, it flies, but not well enough for a game of  Frisbee golf. Wait, I remember! It's one of the yarmulkes (little Jewish hats) I brought to last week's artisan fair at my nearest synagogue, Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center!

Baby Talk Quilts: Brain Exercise for Quilter & Kid from Gefilte Quilt

My friends' kids are in their 20's and 30's, and starting to make babies; thus I am making more baby quilts! Here's my latest. The squares were cut 4";  quilt's total size is about 40" x 50".

I call this an "Everything in the World" or "Baby Conversation" quilt. They're always a joy to make and no two are identical.
